Just as I watch random series on tv -when there is time- I’ve got this habit of reading two or more books simultaneously. This, added to the fact that I’m a lazy thing, that I spent much of my waking hours in the net, and that people keeps providing me with anime, has resulted in these volumes still unfinished on my bedtable.
Alice in wonderland. I read it on my mother language, and a translation as good as it can be, but I got an English copy, and wanted to see if I could catch the word games Carroll was so brilliant at.
La louve de France. I read the first four Cursed King books without breathing, and decided I imperiously needed the other three. But I cut it at the fifth, and can’t go on, not because it’s boring. In that moment happened so many things…
The parfume. It’s on my bag. I have to finish it, even if enjoy is not the word I would use in that book’s case. Stop smirking, Grenouille, you won’t go victorious.
Narnia. Trapped in book two. In this case I’ll wait for All Saints Eve, or Christmas Day break.
I’ve got some stuff to read for the job, and some manga, too. Last weekend I stopped by the bookshop, but didn’t buy anything. It’s no good spending your money on cheese till you eat what you have stored at home. Specially if you promised to write regularly, promise that I have been neglecting on these job-loaded-days. My Kernel friend told me he had written my papers, and if we were to believe his biased words, they are somewhat good.
Do you think I’ll ever have the chance of seeing them printed, bounded and sold?
One can dream.
